Custom Canvas for Your Home

Hot Springs Awning has its own sewing shop, which means we can make just about anything in outdoor canvas. Homeowners come to us for new awning fabric, porch curtains, grill and furniture covers, hot tub covers and repairs that big-box stores cannot handle.

Why Outdoor Fabric Matters

Indoor fabrics fade, rot and mildew fast outside. Sunbrella and Tempotest are solution-dyed acrylics, meaning the color runs all the way through each fiber. That is why they hold their color in the sun. They also breathe, so they dry quickly and resist mildew, which matters a lot in Arkansas humidity. For projects that need to be fully waterproof, we can recommend coated fabrics or vinyl.

Clear Vinyl Windows

For porch and golf cart enclosures, clear vinyl lets you see out while blocking wind and rain. We sew vinyl into fabric borders for strength and add zippers, snaps or straps so panels open and close easily. With good care, clear vinyl stays clear for a long time.

Fabrics That Last Outdoors

We sew with Sunbrella and Tempotest acrylic fabrics. They are made for outdoor use, resist water and fading, and come in hundreds of colors and patterns. Our fabrics carry a 5-year warranty.

Repairs That Save You Money

Not every worn piece of canvas needs to be replaced. Broken zippers, loose seams, small tears and worn tie-downs can often be repaired for a fraction of the cost of new. Thread breaks down in the sun before fabric does, so restitching seams can add years of life to an awning or cover.

What Affects the Cost

Cost depends on size, fabric choice, how much sewing and detail is involved, hardware like zippers and snaps and whether we install it.
